Mr.Shafeeque Punathil is a creative artist and sculptor for more than 40 years of experience. He is also a rank holder in Terracotta Ceramics Advance Study and the student of art legend Mr. Yousef Arakkal. He is very dedicated in his work. He is very passionate to teach children. His works are there in different parts of India and abroad. In Bengaluru, his 4 sculptures (named Mahathma Gandhi, Subash Chandra Bose, Sangolli Rayanna and Visweshwarayya)are installed in Songoli Rayanna BDA park in Malleswaram. He had worked as portrait painter, instructor, terracotta designer and drawing teacher. He also worked in Deccan Herald and Times of India as a freelance illustrator. According to him, teaching the soldiers at Indo-Tibetan border Force is his greatest teaching experience
